I hope you're right. I think the Bruins are one of the best balanced teams in the league. O'Donnell hasn't been playing that well, lately, and his plus/minus isn't too great, either, but I suspect he'll regain his form
in the playoffs. I think the sleeper team to watch is Colorado - especially now that Forsberg is back. They are every bit as dangerous
up front as the bruins and I think their defense may be a bit more
able to score, as well - in other words, their power play probably gets
the advantage over Boston. Sakic and Forsberg are every bit as dangerous
as Stumpel and Thornton, if not more so. There's no other player I'd
rather watch (except for Bobby Orr) than Samsonov - he does things with
the puck that no one else can do, is a great skater, and is an intelligent
player, in general. I still can't believe that Hal Gill made the team -
I used to coach the team Hal played for in high school. We had some great
players on that team, one in particular that was one of the best skaters
or puck-handlers that I've seen at the high-school level. He also did
very well at the college level, as did Hal. The major difference was
their size: Matt, a center, was only 5-8, where Hall was 6-7!
