The 505 Turbos were pretty serious drivers cars in the late 80's, doing very well against formidable SSCA showroom stock C cars. The 405MI16's were a real high revving kick and the 405 had an excellent front drive chassis. 505 Turbos were always availible in automatic and 5-speed. 180hp sounds right, but I seem to remember some kind of an overboost thingy to 200+ hp. The 180hp was a very convervative rating.
