Well, someone is having a bad day. I asked for intelligent opinions on what I should do about the ticket....not an asinine judgement.
If you would do the research (I have), you would discover, as saabaru has pointed out, that most speeding tickets have absolutely no relevance to safety whatsoever. Moreover, the margin of error on radar equipment, depending on how it is used, how and when it was last calibrated, etc., can be enormous.
And if you must know, my tags expired because my parents overlooked my renewal registration that had been mailed to them in TX (I've been in Baltimore for the past two years attending grad. school). So, contrary to what you might want to believe, I'm not some punk-ass yahoo who's out to kill mothers driving around with their children.
