According to the Autoweek article (linked on this site's home page), the 9-3X has been given the go ahead, but the product placement is t.b.d. Any further insight from the knowledgeable readers of this bb on the Saab product line c. '05 or so? Is the 9-3X chassis and suspension based on the just announced '03 9-3?
From the photos in the Autoweek article, it seems the 9-3X has more than a passing resemblance to an Alfa 147 - coincidence, just similar design concept, or might there be some "under the skin" commonality?
