The name should state what it is & not claim to be something it isn't! Mostly an american sport with a few people from other countries playing on US teams but the name still doesn't make sence!
I guess you would like/understand soccer if they would score the games at 7 pts per goal (like your football) so you would have your 7 to 0 or 14-7 scores etc. I guess we also should add time outs, tv time outs, as well as anything else to completely stop the game from doing anything!
To me it's BORING to watch people stand motionless for a few hrs at a baseball game WAITING for the slim chance they get to do something. People go to a baseball games for a social time while soccer fans go to watch the worlds #1 sport! How long is a baseball game anyways 3 hrs??? & How about a football game? +3 hrs long with only "80" minutes of playing time?
I think it's something americans who do not enjoy soccer simply just can't understand! They just can't comprehend that a game which ends in a 0 to 0 tie can be extremely entertaining, all 90+ minutes of it! For some stupid reason, it's understood that a game must be high scoring & you also must pay dearly to watch! I don't have a clue what baseball tickets cost but the local NFL team it's $55+ per seat (+ seat liscense), I beleive basketball is also in the sane area! The local MLS seats start at $12 per seat! I don't understand how they expect a average family of 4+ to spend a evening at a game when it costs $200+ just to get in the door!
Obviously the "fake crybaby act" is something you can't comprehend :o)
So are you a NASCAR fan as well?
