Talked to the agent, I'm covered (less the deductable(ouch))with no fault. With a chip right in the middle of where I need to look a repair is not recommended so far. Going to get a couple more estimates on monday. But the maybe good news, I talked to the owner of the trucking company. Good/bad maybe but he "promised" to talk to his insurer after the driver came in and was interveiwed. Waiting for a call back on Monday. Its a company with, from what I've found is 200 plus trucks, family owned. I talked to him in what I considered a fair manner with no threats, more a question of "what can be done about this?". Had all my facts straight, Time of day, direction, traffic flow, where I saw the rocks (plural, crushed granite I belive) before and after the impact.
If none of this helps there is always the fall back. Hit the 9k board and find out how to put in a windshield from the parts car.
