Just go to the school's website and you should be able to find a link for requirements. Most schools want proof of 1 year living in the state with bank accounts, utility bills, rent reciepts, paycheck stubs and other things like that to show that the student is living in the state full time.
Also, the majority of financial support from parents is bad if you're trying to get in-state tuition.
There are also scholarships available that can help with the extra cost. I'm to Arizona St. for my MBA in the fall and was awarded a scholarship to cover the $9,000 charge since I'm not an Arizona resident.
All the info for the given school should be on the website. Just need to do a little investigating and you'll find all the info you need.
