... the seats were firm, more like a 9-3 SE than a 9-5 Aero. They were very comfortable. I was hoping they would be ventilated (they weren't) and forgot to ask if that would be an option.
My impression of the body style was that it was eye-catching - certainly not blandmobile. If I had my choice of two new 9-3s, one with the exterior of the old 9-3 and one with the exterior of the new 9-3, but the same interior, engines, and technological advancements I would without a doubt pick the new 9-3. It is much more sporty.
Depending on what they do to the '03 9-5, I would probably pick the 9-3 because it is a smaller car, as I don't need the size of the 9-5. If I frequently travelled with four people I would consider the 9-5 for its bigger back seat.
Re: Aero/Vector... I am not positive but I think that Vector models are Europe-only.
