I looked into this before and came to the conclusion (based on some advice on audiworld) that the Griots Garage paint was some of the best stuff out there. I also heard others that bought the stuff at Home Depot say they haven't had any issues.
Its funny that I actually was thinking about this very topic today. I just gave my aero its first bath and pulled it into my garage and looked down at the floor and thought I needed to do something about it. We just
moved into this house a month ago and it is brand new home. My wife would kill me if I spent time on that right now so it might have to wait;)
When we were looking at houses I did see one interesting concept on a custom home - the the builder had the garage carpeted with black industrial like carpeting you often see in walkways (like the stuff in cold weather areas to get the salt and sand off your feet). I guess you wouldn't care if you spilled something on that. I also saw a garage with italian tile on half the garage -- I wouldn't go with tile as it gets slippery when wet and when you drop something you will likely crack the tile -- sure looks nice though.
You might also want to go to high-end showroom and see what they have down on the floor to get some ideas. When I was looking at Prosches and BMWs I saw some cool looking showrooms -- not sure how functional they are, but your cars would be happy;)
