Hey everybody,
I am planning a very informal drive from Lake George NY to Lake Placid NY. This will be a long one way tour. There will be stops along the way at Fort Ticonderoga, the Champlain Valley, Ausable Chasm, hopefully Whiteface Mountain weather permitting for a group photo and finally on to Lake PLacid for a nice Italian dinner.
This will be mostly along state routes so it may be crowded at times but I assure you it is an excellent drive.
The drive is about 140 miles, so it will be an all dayer. I can try to grub up so places for hotels if people are interested. I am thinking either Saturday September 21st or the 28th but the 28th is the weekend before Saabtoberfest and I don't want to horn in on their action.
Let me know what your thoughts are. Again this is very informal as I don't have much experience but I want a run in Upstate NY so I am just going to do it.
