European Car (October issue) has a very positive article on the 2003 9-3 ("a sterling example of a small division within a very large company assuming control of its destiny"..."a magnificent effort"...that "dispels fears that parent company General Motors would be nothing but detrimental to Saab's independence and distinctive qualities."

So I guess that they kind of liked the car!

The article also refers to the fact that they also drove the higher horsepower versions of the new 9-3 and refers the reader to europeancarweb.com for technical details, trim options and first drive reviews. Unfortunately, their web site is still based upon the September issue and has not yet been updated with data from the October issue...will just have to keep checking re when they chose to post the info on the other versions.
