You have lots of good advice - but I couldn't help chiming in.... I have been using Stoner's Invisible Glass for about two years and it is fantastic. Many other products have been good too, but this seems to work very well. I beleive the critical thing is the clean wiping surface. It sounds goofy, but about ten years ago, a local store put their 100% cotton Canon Royal Family towels (black only) on a blowout sale. I bought twenty of them (2.99/each) for use on my cars. I wash them after they are used and I use them for everything - waxing, drying, etc. I keep 4-5 in the trunk.... the order is clean towels on windows, then wipe down, then on the brake dust - then into the washer. I have a hamper in the garage. When its full, I wash them in unscented detergent and dry them without any of those additive sheets. They are awesome. Black is great because it does not show stains. I usually do my front windows every morning before my commute (80 miles).
