The EURO has resulted in massive price rises in some parts of Europe. To understand why, you have to understand 0.49 and 0.99. Those are price points in many shops across the world. So what is 0.99 pence now, would be more than Euro1.49. So the shopkeepers will round it off to EURO1.99. A quick price increase. No wonder the large retaailers are all for it. But not the paying public. ANd there are more of those points...
The speed limit of 70MPH was introduced after E-type Jaguar drivers started belting dowwn the motorway called the M1, at speeds in excess of 150MPH. The M1 passes my front windows from about 50 meters. It is also the palce where I was clocked by the police doing 125MPH in my 9-3SE. I'll save you the words of the preciding judge at my trial....
Motorbike touring can be great. But get a SAAB and try out some of the winding roads in the hills. ANd for those lucky enough to have driven to Abbott's racing, that long winding road is one darn good challenge in rev control. Get it right, and you'll be driving by the bottom of your pants. Get it wrong, and you'll have some angry farmer pulling you out with his tractor... Honest. Just ask Abbott.
