There have been some threads in the past about this in various forums - do a search.
At the very least: add fuel stabilizer to a full tank of fresh gas and drive the car so that the injectors and lines are protected. Change the oil. Pump up the tires to the max sidewall rating. Wash the car and put a desscicant inside. Make sure the windows are up and remove all valuables.
Desireable: place the car on jack stands. If you can, remove the battery and store it in a heated area with a good "battery maintaining" type trickle charger. If you leave the battery in the car and set the security system, the battery will discharge and freeze!
It would be _really_ good if you could have someone check the car ocasionally, to see if rodents are eating it, or the battery has dischraged and frozen and leaked acid, or the inside is full of condensation, or a tire is going flat, etc etc.
