Best way to remove old stickers from car??

Wife put a AAA sticker and a French Citizen sticker on the back of our Saab, and it is time for them to go, but they are not cooperating.
Is thee a solution/ cleaner to pry these things loose? Would that bug/tar stuff do the trick?
