140 in a light rain in Imperial Valley in Booger.... made my buddies dark green G60 Corrado a memorable car. That and the fact we named it Booger. Poor Booger, hit and fixed three seperate times. I guess the light rain made for cool dense air and we still had a little throttle left at an indicated 140, until that truck came up. Fastest I've ever been in a car.
After my friend slid Booger off the road there was a stub axle for the rear that was humorously bent right at the end, this is a 1" piece of steel about the size of your thumb with a kink in the end. We had it chromed, named it after my friend, and now whoever has had the last accident gets possession of it. I haven't had it yet, knock on wood.
