Yes, the market is SUV frenzied right now. But I think SAAB doesn't always have to be different and shouldn't always be different. I don't have a problem with the smaller, car based SUV, 'cause you can still see around those and they aren't nearly the safety hazard of the larger ones. I really don't see a problem with SAAB having an SUV...sure it's been done, but other car manufacturers keep building new ones and people keep buying them. So what if SAAB makes a SUV based on a car chassis that has a turbo power plant, great utility, great safety, and AWD. Wait a minute...except for the AWD...they've already done that. Let them build what will sell...if you don't want one, then don't buy one. SAAB building an SUV doesn't really warrant all of the controversy raised on this site.
