Japanese options can be almost as bad

I priced a G35 on the Infiniti web site, and had to add almost $10,000(US) of options to configure it similar to a 9-5 Aero w/auto. Besides the AT, the only Saab option available is the Touring Package for the bi-xenon lights. For a comparable G35, I needed to add: Leather, Premium pkg (sunroof, 200w audio (only 7 speakers), driver-side memory, power passenger seat, dual-zone A/C, auto-dim mirror), Sport pkg (suspension, 17" wheels), Winter pkg (heated seats & outside mirrors).
OTH, the 9-5 gets rain sensing wipers, auto dimming outside mirrors, 3 years maintenance, better MPG, more torque below 4800 RPM, etc.
