They got the service done, I have no issues with that...they seemed to charge a LOT for what seemed to be very minor problems...and when I questioned the cost...their answer seemed very fishy because of the time difference of 1.6 hours they told me over the phone versus the 2.8 hours they were telling me to my face. I don't like when things are not clear cut...and it made me very unhappy with what I paid for what I seemed to get.

But the difference of how I was treated by the dealership in New Orleans (The city people warn you to watch out for scams) and the treatment here at a dealership I have taken both my Saabs to over the last 4 years many times and they know me by sight was just too much to endure. Both quoted the $85 diagnosis charge...and yet only one charged me for it...one found 2 problems...both of which would take any reasonably competent tech what...20 minutes to fix...tighten the gascap and press reset and for the SRS light...just press reset and see if it happens again? And the other found spark plugs that needed to be changed...not as minor but only ended up charging me for the sparkplugs to be done in the end. No diagnosis fee...if anything I would have expected the reverse...for the dealer in New Orleans to charge me and not here.

I believe it was all the service advisors fault too...I have no qualms about saying that...he sucked at communicating and customer service skills...he just didn't listen to me. So now I'm going to try out two other dealers and see which one I like...one near my house and another on on my way to work. And for my 1986 turbo...well...he still goes to Beacon of course.
