Came w/ 03 9-5 SW Linear.
Had chance to drive in fresh snow and slurry/ ice later on. Very impressed with its traction. ABS barely came on at my intensional hard brakings. Definetely test all-season tires I ever had. No comparison to those Michelin OEM (XGT4?) I had on 9-3, and big improvement over the previous generatin P6, P600 and P4000 I experienced. I found out that TCS/ ESP works great too.
With a lot of positive postings about dedicated winter tires, I was almost getting my order out for a set. Now I think I should rather get an ECU upgrade (takes totally different approach to convince my wife but.)
I'm just wondering how others think about the new P6? I noticed some negative feedback at tirerack website, mostly from Volvo owners complaining about damages after pot-hole. I'm not sure if it is tire design issue, or just volvo-specific application where load, air-pressure, aspect ratio, suspension setup, etc. may be not so favorable than other vehicles. So far I see no problems and love them.
