Ok, I've got mixed feelings about Jaguar's new campaign to advertise to the gay community.
On one hand, from my point of view it's good to see a major company (Ford)step up and admit that we are out here and not ignore a segment of the population. It's a gutsy move and I can't help but wonder how long it will be until Pat, Jerry, and the rest of the thumpers get going and start calling for boycotts.
On the other hand.... if they decided to target a different demographic like Black's or Asians or Italians etc etc... would they be accused of being racist?
I'm sure there are those of us out there who will jump on this and buy a Jag just because they're targeting us, but speaking for myself, I don't buy based on who's going to market directly to me, but based on who has the product I want at the price I'm willing to pay.
