Hi,
"Two Towers" is how one makes a fantasy/sci-fi movie! The effects were
used to enhance and not to get in the way.
Just think about that scene where smeagol is fighting his inner demon
and wins. That could have been just a skinny midget in a slimy wet-suite
in a low budget production and could have been 99% as effective.
I love the Uruk-hai, the Nazgul, the Ents and all of the creatures of
Tolkien's imaginations and my visualization when I read the book for the
first time when I was in Junior High School. Again, the effects enhanced
the story and not made up for lack of a story (as in Star Wars I & II).
Also, what about Liv Tyler? Oh Baby! Come to Papa!
I want to see the movie over and over again on DVD, without the annoying
b!tch sitting directly behind me who talked the entire length of the
movie. She was asking for a smack-bottom ... um ... I'm sorry I confused
this incident with something else. :-)
thanks
Jae
