"I seem to have several offers to buy my '86 Mazda through out the year."
Wow! Same thing with our '85 Nissan King Cab pickup. Its in great shape for its age...some rust, dents, etc...but most Japanese trucks this age are just a pile of rust particles. Its got every possible feature too...even power windows (in an '85 Nissan truck??) The engine won't stop. We've had the '85 Nissan truck for 9 years now...not one single problem. The muffler just goes every few years...and no matter what muffler shop we take it to, someone there wants to buy it :)
The only reason I can see to replace it is that rust is starting to get to it, and even minus the rust, these older trucks aren't the safest vehicles out there to say the least.
