Ford: While it's great to see the Mustang getting back to it's roots the direction the rest of Ford's (ford, lincoln, merc) concept cars suggest that it will be a long till I think of buying the blue oval.
GM: A lot of usual silliness. Saab I think had more space this year? The G6 needs to be the next gen Grand Am. The SS is a copy of the new Mazda RX8. The Cadillac 16 is the most imppresive piece of iron I have ever cast my eyes on. You don't so much look at it as behold it. It easy had the largest crowd of the concept cars.
Volvo: Cutest models.
Lexus: Nothing new. Horrible stained white carpet as flooring in display area.
Hyundai: The thing they had was the uglies concept there.
Scion: Nice jungle music but will raver kids want a micro panel van or a uber cheapo city car?
VW: They must have had one Bug convertible in every color there.
Bentley: New Continental in beautiful.
Mini: No SUV yet.
Infiniti: Triant, gull-wing door SUV concept was wierd
Nissan: New Maxiam looks better in person, not saying much
Acura: Sleziest models
BMW: Crowded
Porsche: 3 or 4 911's, about 10 SUV pepper things
Kia: They seem to be trying
Maybach: Grill looks like a second gen Q45. Was being misspronouced My-BACK by folks in the crowd.
Rolls-Royce: VW has ruined them. The new Phanthom VI can be discribed in 2 words; Family Truckster. Looking at the faces of the few people around the display showed snikers and disgust. They had a long run but the King is dead. With BMW maintaining the liniage of Bentley and the new Mayback if GM goes ahead with the Sixteen Rolls just might be in trouble. Guess VW spent too much time sinffing glue to come up with the new Bug colors.
Discovery Channel: They had 3 of the Monster Garage cars there, the Trash Truck Explorer, Zamboni Impala and a third, very cool
