You can only be pissed at yourself. Is it SAAB's fault you hit a curb?
Only the front toe settings can be adjusted on a NG900/9-3. Front struts are one piece with the wheel hub. There are no bolts or shims, nothing to adjust. If your alignment is incorrect, whatever the reason, all you can do is replace things that are out of spec. It does not take a lot to bend the whole front subframe on these cars. If you hit it at the right angle, 5 mph is enough to cause very serious damage.
Your only choice is to check the alignment. If you want this free, you'll have to do it yourself. Also check your wheels -- a bent wheel can cause similar problems. If the alignment is out of spec, then you need to determine what was damaged. Diagnostics is not cheap and this is not warranty work. This kind of stuff should be done by a competent person, so your best bet is to find an independent master tech who will handle it for you. Once you know what needs to be replaced, you can make a determination whether to file a claim with your insurance company. This kind of damage should be covered under your comprehensive insurance. Your rates will likely go up :(
If you bent your subframe, the bill could go into the thousands.
