I was going to buy from DigitalDealz.com until I read the horror stories about bait and switch, missing bar codes (for rebates), delays, misinformation, price increases, etc. These places that charge unbelievably low prices are either dealing in gray market or reconditioned cameras, or they have "a problem with your order" forcing you to call them, and then they pressure you to buy overpriced accessories.

I just bought a Canon G3 from my local camera shop because I did not want to deal with these hassles. I was willing to pay quite a bit more for the piece of mind (US$150 more plus state sales tax). Where you can safely buy stuff at a good discount is in the area of accessories, such as memory or lenses.
Be smart and do your research before trusting any of these cut-rate dealers!
