Seriously. Planes running parallel to a highway are either trying to land in an emergency OR they are police. My dad taught me that. They count the stripes on the road with a timer in hand.

There are ways to fight this. Internet has lots of info. In the future, NEVER speak to the cop, as they record everything you say. Just ask what did I do, why do you say that, and thank you. I ikeep a tape recorder in the car to record the conversation. I have been surprised how easy it is to catch the police in a mistake or an outright lie. They deny they said things or change facts. The recorder gives you credibility over the cops. One istake on their part and their entire testimony is crap.

I notice you said "how did you you catch me"? That implies guilt and recognition of guilt. So does your posting here on this forum, and those guys always keep up on forums like this. Better to say, "what did I do?" You need to ask questions like "did the plane identify my license plate, how many cars were there on the road, how many cars of my color were there, how many of my color were pulled over, could you mistake my car for another, you pulled over several cars so how could one person clock all of them simultaneously when they were all travelling at different speeds, so you in the police car never saw me speed and it was soley on this overburdenned aircraft info that you pulled me over, ask if they have a survailance video and insist that they provide it in pre-trial discovery (it is the little known law that they have to), if no video what is the proof besides a guy with a stopwatch watching 5 guys at a time, why no tape in this day and age when police highway vehicles have it as a standard option (are you entitled to less justice because if speeders caught by highway vehicles have a higher standard of required proof requiring video and radar the system is fundamentally unfair), etc..., etc...

Also, I am not sure about Ohio law, but there are MANY areas/states where speed limit is not a definite upper limit, just a legal suggestion. If you can prove you were driving safely, the judge might give a pass. Ask what the 85% speed of the road is. That means what 85% of people on the road drive at or up to. Driving slower than the pack is recognized as dangerous in the USA and causing accidents. If you had to drive fast to keep up with the pack and prevent people from rear ending you and crowding in on you, let the judge know. Check to see if that info is on any vcr taped video from the plane.
