I agree. It seems like it should make sense. One of the reasons, surely, Volvo sales have quadrupled is that Hertz (Ford owned) has also made them available. And everyone I know rents from Hertz and everyone I know generally dislikes them. But, it's true, when the other companies have nothing close to a Prestige rental, I'm not ready to switch to Avis with only Grand Ams and Regals to chose from. So, I think the idea of Avis having some 9-5 Linears or 9-5 Arcs at the very least would make some sense. I don't think that there would be too many service issues as the other people are claiming. (In fact, I don't know what they're talking about.) The cars are so solid, and so trouble free, especially in when new, and Avis would only keep them for a year or less.
