My dog can't sit up when she's teathered with the 1ft lead, because it can't slide all the way up the shoulder belt. I have a 4ft chain lead, but its too long, plus its a chain. Then I have a 6ft and a 20ft retractable. I only have one dog, however. ;)
She jumped out when the top was down ONCE while attached to the 4ft lead. (The car was parked...and I had just got out) I think she dicovered quickly that its not fun to be uncomfortably suspended along side the car.
It looks like in the picture the metal part slides along the upper part of the shoulder belt and there are 2 hooks release hooks, one on each side. I don't know about clipping the belt to the harness in front like that, maybe they did that just for the picture.
Maybe I'll see if the dealer here has one in stock and take a look at it.
