However I just don't understand the "2 lap" rule - it seems to me when the race is stopped, the winner should be whoever is in the lead at the time, assuming the driver got there legally (IE: didn't pass under the yellow, etc.). I've thought about it all night and I can't see any reasoning behind going back to the standings as of 2 laps previously. Jorden's team worked hard to get there and it seems really unfair to snatch the win from them. Can anyone enlighten me?
That being said, it was one of the better F1 races in years. Actually this whole season is starting off so much better than recent years. The series has my interest again.
