-IF- you are getting a new car, how's about that Volvo XC wagon (not the SUV)? For a wagon, it looks pretty cool, and would carry the dogs et al., and you seem to prefer euro-cars, and i think it comes in a turbo(?) I've been trying to talk the wifey into one, she hates the idea of a wagon, so it's been no-go so far.
My NG900 is in the shop for leaky seals, likely will run me over a grand, but otherwise I have been DIY'ing repairs for almost two years, thereby saving $$. If you're not inclined to DIY, for $400 a month you can get LOTS of new car.
