I'm not sure that the front is any better either. It is like someone goofed around with the old prius in photoshop for a few minutes, and was like "yeah, there's the new look. ship it!"

I don't think the car needs to look more ugly to get the .25 Cd either. many of the ugliness factors are there to make a visual statement and probably negatively impact drag... I agree on the lexus comment also. It is true that cars are becoming more homogeous for aerodynamic and safety reasons, but there is still design space. The new MB C-class sedan has a Cd of .24, so lower than the Prius, and yet not ugly!
