I guess we're fortunately that Saabs our build to accommodate the typically 'gargantuan Swede' though honestly head room is a bit tighter than I might have expected on some models with the sunroof. Perhaps one reason Porsches are a bit roomier is due to the stereotype of the larger German male as well, while the Ferrari is built for the svelte Italian. Silly stereotypes aside, I guess with today's modern design there isn't really an excuse for inefficient use of space and cramped interiors regardless of the size of the car, but personally I like smaller, lighter cars. I'd also like to be able to order a soda smaller than my head too, so what do I know.
