All Mitsubishis since... the 70s... were OHC. In the US the Montero had either a 12v or 24v V6 depending on year. Other places it had a 16v four (basically the same engine as similar-year Hyundai 2.4l) as well as some diesel options. Most (by sales) I think were 2WD, but 4WD was obviously an option. I did the timing belt on a friend's 2001 V6 4WD a long time ago. Wasn't so bad. I'm not sure what the market for such a vehicle is these days. She sold hers and got a BMW.
