I've had my Sportback for one year, and I love it, but I'll contradict (to some extent) some of your post. Perhaps you drove a 2019, and perhaps the coupe is different than the sportback, but I don't think either is different than mine.

The S-Line is appearance only, inside and out, but no different seats nor suspension.

Audi isn't consistent on their Sport packages, but mine has their sport suspension, and their sport seats. The easiest way to check the seats is the adjustable thigh extension. My seats are pretty good, but nowhere near as comfortable as SAAB seats. I don't consider their base seats much better. It's my understanding that all A5's have sportier suspension than A4's, and my sport suspension lowers the car even more.

In 2018 (maybe 2017 with the A4/A5 redesign) they added some HP to the 2.0T and changed the transmission. Mine works great, very responsive and smooth. Add the suspension, and this is very fun car to drive. I doubt that the Coupe seems any different behind the wheel, and the Sportback is gorgeous (IMHO). I love the optional virtual dash (or whatever it's called).

The Sportback's utility can't match the 9-5 SC, and I still have it, for a little longer.

Ed
