I've owned an '85 325e and an '89 325iS. Both were great cars. The '85 was broadsided by a stop-sign runner, and the '89 was sold to family friends with 191K on the clock. Still ran beautifully.
It's been a while since I was a regular on the BMW site listed below, but it's specific to the e30 Chassis (3-series, '84-91 (92 cvt) for US years).
Hope it's as good as the Saabnet (Is there really any chance of that being the case?)
