BMW 328is for a second car?

Hi all,

Having owned the 9000 cars ('94 & '98) for a decade.
Now the '98 CSE is still running strong but I'm looking for a 'second' car that is more sportier for pleasure driving.

Having considered the car below $ 15K and found the 328is in the target!

As the 9000 car for me now is inside-out for fixing and maintenance. I'm just wonder if fixing and maintainging the 328is is more or less difficult than the 9000 cars?

Also any advice or any objection for having the 328is?

Any check point should I look throughly before getting the car?

I'm looking at a 100Kmiles '97 at below $8,000 Any advice please very appreciated!
