the 9-3 sits way too low for me..like an Accord or Mazda6. The interior..esp the dash still looks like a Saturn to me...I absolutly detest the look/feel of the door panel tops....where I rest my arm... Once in, its plenty roomy...geting in and out reminds me of my old convert...only worse. As I spend my days climbimg in and out, this was a deal killer for me. I don't like trunks, and I already had a '99 9-5 wagon for 3 1/2 years and 95k..boring and VERY unreliable...don't get me started.
I liked the 9-2x for many of the above reasons, and nearly bought one..it is an incredible buy in the South...it is simply too small for me to spend large amounts of time in. The seats are too narrow for my oversized rear, and the leg room is limited. To me it reminded me more of my Saabs, than the Saabs.I emailed you for a quote a while back...if you recall.
I had intended to hold on for the sports combi...but Saabi sent me pics of that same interior....
Sorry...it just no longer fits...but I still dearly love my 9KT...without a doubt the best all around sports sedan ever. I'll hope Saab finds a way to get back to its roots...until then, I'll live with the 20% less.
