You can get these at many foreign car parts stores. Or order online -- Worlpac retailers carry them. I often order from europeanautomotive.com.
PBR MetalMasters are very good but do dust a little. PBR Deluxe are also good, although not as high-friction as the MetalMasters. But they produce no dust. I myself prefer MetalMasters, even though I have to clean the wheels regularly.
Subaru OEM pads are OK but not as good as MetalMasters. They do come with all the necessary hardware and copper grease. If you go with aftermarket pads, be sure to also get the necessary shims and hardware. Sometimes you can buy aftermarket stuff, otherwise you can buy them from Subaru piecemeal. I usually order my OEM parts from Liberty Subaru in NJ (newsubaru.com). If you are on the west coast, I recommend subaruparts.com. For a small order, it might be more economical to go to your local dealer, so do call and check prices. If you order from Liberty Subaru, be sure to tell them that you are "Internet customer", otherwise they will charge you more.
I recently installed Mountain brand (Made in Japan, excellent quality) brake disks and PBR MetalMaster pads on the rear of my Impreza and the difference was night and day. Pedal effort was GREATLY reduced.
