Am at a conference in Miami and we went to dinner last nite. One of the people had rented a Jag S-Type from Hertz and I drove both ways from Aventura to South Beach.
With 3 others in the car I didn't get to play at all but this is a nice car! Flat handling at moderate speeds, great ride, nice steering. I never got to really put my foot down but power seemed good. Very composed on I-95 at 80+. Funny to drive a NA engine after being used to a turbo, but this was not a bad car, for a gussied up Ford.

Kind of tight seating--the seat bolsters were a tad too narrow for my back, but would probably be OK.

Will rent one on another trip to try it out a bit more enthusiastically.
