I test drove the S60, BMW 325i, Saab 9-3 Vector, Audi A4 1.8t, and Mercedes C240 ALL ON THE SAME DAY and the S60 was so vastly terrible compared to all the others. When I see them on the road, I point them out to whomever I'm with and note that the driver only test drove one car - there's no other possible explanation - definitely not price, that's for sure, definitely not handling or performance, and definitely not interior. All I can say is, Bravo Volvo on your advertising. You sell a lot of cars due to your advertising. Volvo ads sell Volvo cars - that is for sure. Someone should do a Business School study on that one. The BMW and Mercedes I threw out because of price and the Audi A4 was quite the competitor matching the 9-3 in every aspect except it was way under-powered with the 1.8t. Move up to the next powerful engine in that car and you've got a 9-3SS killer except that the 9-3 is soooooo much less expensive.
