Every time a pickup goes past my house in snow it gets stuck on the slight hill. After 1/2 hour spinning its rear tires the driver will typically turn around and head in the other direction. Happened 100-200 times last winter. The only vehicles that had trouble getting up the slight slope have been pickup trucks. I had no trouble myself in either of my SAABs, even with well worn all-season tires.
Don't know if any of the pickups had "roof tiles" in their beds...
