I got a free upgrade to a Magnum a few months ago and was really looking forward to driving it - I admire how it looks and am a big fan of wagons. Well I merged on the expressway just outside Sacramento, put my foot to the floor and...nothing. I don't know what the 3.5 L engine was doing but it certainly wasn't getting me up to the speed i needed to be at on a busy California freeway.
To be fair, it did seem to improve through the rental period - either my expectations were being realigned or it was adapting to my more spirited driving style. But for now I'll be sticking with my 95 9k CSE - that is a vehicle that can merge on to an expressway!!
