I went in with a certified check for $19K and we dickered a bit and it was done. We settled on what I expected for the Exploder ($1500) plus $20K for the CPO 9-5. They were asking $22.9K so this was a reasonable deal, IMO. Car has excellent service history, all at the selling dealer with oil and filter every 5K. Also had Touring package, new tires, new front brakes. Warranty runs another year, then CPO runs to 2009.

The Exploder had 138K and had OK tires, but was on the verge of a $2K cash infusion between now and fall, so it was good to see it go. In the past 2 weeks my wife has gotten numerous compliments on her new ride and likes not having to visit the gas station so much.

A good CPO Saab wagon? $21,500.
