Anders, I will always take your advice as "gold". You have provided significant help to me on the NG900 board.
Is the DL engine a concern mainly due to its rarity, or due to the fact that it is a weak link. The DL is very appealing due to the higher MPG and possibility of going WVO (a dual tank system here in MN!). Another reason for looking at the 240 is that I REALLY want the manual transmission. I understand that Volvo autos don't have nearly the issues that similar era Saab's have in the auto transmission, but STRONGLY prefer a manual. I understand the 940 only came in an automatic. Is this correct?
Is it true that the DL engine is from VW? I have read indications of that elsewhere, but am uncertain as to what era 240's those may have been for.
