The last time my Saab was serviced I had a Caliber (SXT I think) loaner. I thought the CVT and motor were nice, the trunk size was good, decent audio for an economy car...and that was about it. The two biggest problems were the lack of any padding on surfaces where you'd rest your arm, but the worst was visibility. I felt like I was driving in a bunker at night, the backlit gauges ruined my night vision, and that tiny window by the C pillar made for a huge blind spot. The styling was interesting from the outside, but it beat out practicality here, methinks.
The CVT was pretty cool though.
