One little hidden Mini attribute is that they are still strong in the market with perhaps the highest resale percentage of anything I can think of. For example I don't care how old or how many miles I betcha' you can't fine one for less than $10k, and that's for a car with an original MSRP of less than $20k.

Tires, run flats to be specific, cause terrible vibration, noise and harshness issues. A new set of shoes can make a huge difference.

Lotsa' plastic inside, metallic look plastic, and I can't see the tops of the guages. Very cool design, quality feel.

Wonder how one would stack up to a brand new late 70's VW Scirocco or Rabbit? Or perhaps one of my all time favorites, an 83-84 GTI.
