On my fourth Saab now, but experiencing Volvo C30 lust

My current Saab is a 2002 9-3 SE. This is Saab #4 (in a row!) for my family. We love them all.

I will likely be giving the 9-3 to my sister in a few months, and I will of course have to replace it. I love the 9-3 Sport Sedan and SportCombi, but I am really, really dreaming of a Volvo C30. It's just fabulous, and it's wonderfully small. I don't need the size and cargo volume of the 9-3. If Saab had a Volvo C30 competitor right now I'm sure that would be my choice, but since they don't, I'm seriously considering straying from Saab for the first time ever (I have never owned a non-Saab).

Am I insane?
