Coming from a 9-3 you have to give the 9-5 SW a look (I did and bought one it has been a great vehicle so far, got it in March)I won't go on and on about the 9-5 you can read enough here.

MDX in my opinion is a rebadged Pilot. My Dad picked up a 04 Pilot EX a few month back and I must say if I was going to buy an SUV that would be the one. VERY roomy, I think it was tested against the big boys (Yukon/Expidition/etc...)and stood up pretty well. It is a very smooth ride and it isn't as "look at me" as most SUV's are these days. He put alot of research into it and it blew the Highlander out of the water. The 4 runner and Pathfinder are good trucks but they are just that trucks.

I have always liked the Subaru's and have only heard good things but have never had the opportunity to drive one. The 05's look nice, I think they are a bit smaller than the 9-5 SW.

Can't comment on the Volvo's except that everytime I see one I can only think about the Everclear song- Volvo Driving Soccer Moms.
