Hi Anders, and anyone else who may know,

I have a friend whose mom got mad at her car and I guess smacked the wiper switch and broke off the stalk!

how difficult, time consuming, expensive is that to replace? is there an online source with diagrams to show how steering column covers come off, where wires go, etc? will a UK switch work (saw on big auction site) is this a dealer or junkyard only item or are aftermarket parts available?

thanks in advance any and all who may have had opportunity to replace one. Anders, if it's not too much trouble, if you could briefly outline what's invovled? can i attempt this myself for her or should send her to shop?
